Important travel tips for Kuruvadweep islands (Wayanad)⬇️ Kuruvadweep Islands is truly one of the most beautiful places to visit in Wayanad. But the government only allows 244 tourists per day here, as it is an eco-sensitive zone. Hence, if you don’t want to miss it, we highly recommend that you reach here early in the morning and join the queue. The ticket counter opens at 9 am. But we had reached by 7:30 am and there were already around 10 families before us who had formed the queue. Also, remember to wear comfortable footwear, carry insect repellent and extra clothes (if you want to swim or bathe in the river banks). There’s a changing room at the start and end point. Any plastic is not allowed inside & you will not find food facilities until you go back to the shore. The eatery we dined at the end is called Pepper Corns, situated next to the ticket counter. Remember to be respectful of nature and act responsibly at such places. If you’re caught throwing any garbage here, you’ll be fined.
