Traveling to the mountains has been an annual ritual for Sayantani and her family since her childhood. From offbeat villages in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand to the bustling hill stations of Kullu and Manali, her family rarely missed a spot.

As an ardent food enthusiast, Sayantani takes immense pleasure in embarking on culinary adventures and savoring the diverse flavors and delicacies across regions and cultures worldwide. For The Wander Therapy, she covers Asian destinations, local Indian culinary hotspots, overcoming language barriers while traveling and also writes on pet-friendly vacations as a mom of 3 beautiful dogs.

Sayantani completed her post-graduation degree in English Literature from the University of Calcutta and has a diploma in Japanese from Rabindra Bharati University. She has written over 120 articles on beauty, lifestyle, travel and food for various online platforms.

Her first international trip was in 2011 to the picturesque Yamaguchi prefecture of Japan through a student exchange program conducted by the Govt. of Japan. Sayantani has also traveled to a couple of Asian countries such as China, Bangkok, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
