Traveling to the mountains has been an annual ritual for Sayantani and her family since her childhood. Her first international trip was in 2011 to the picturesque Yamaguchi prefecture of Japan, through a student exchange program conducted by the Govt. of Japan. A post-graduate in English Literature from the University of Calcutta, Sayantani also holds a diploma in Japanese from Rabindra Bharati University. Over her 7-year career span, she has written over 120 articles on beauty, lifestyle, travel and food for various online platforms.
Soumya has completed 10 years in the content space this year. She has worked as a copywriter, skin care writer, content manager and brand head across industries like OTT, YouTube MCN, women’s health, nutritional supplements, beauty and wellness startups. Being a new mom, she writes on toddler-friendly travels, besides covering destination-specific topics and putting together useful travel guides for The Wander Therapy. Soumya believes that travel experiences can make one happier, wiser & stronger. Her articles will make you want to pack the bags and hit the road!
Having traveled extensively across India and to over 25 countries, Yesha loves sharing her beautiful travel experiences with the world. An English Literature graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad and a diploma holder in Journalism and Mass Comm. from Harkisan Mehta Institute of Media, Research and Analysis, Mumbai, Yesha later went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Sikkim Manipal University. She has written for various publications such as DNA and The Times of India in her 9-year-long journalism career.
Over the last 8 years, Riyanka has traveled across various Southeast Asian nations, including Bhutan, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia. She has also volunteered at a childcare center in Nairobi, Kenya, for a month and extensively explored the national parks of the country. An avid mountain-lover, Riyanka often escapes to the mountains, hiking along nature trails or sipping on Honey-Lemon-Ginger tea while reading Ruskin Bond books. She has written for various travel magazines and websites, including Tripoto, Outlook Traveller and Vistara’s in-flight magazine. With dreams of telling stories from across the world, Riyanka also writes about her journey on Roy Tells Tales.
For Nimisha, travel is a therapeutic escape for both mind and body. The passion stems partly from her father, who views travel as an adventure and inspires her love for heights. This shared enthusiasm led her to several trekking experiences over the years, besides memorable trips to around 15 destinations within India. As a theater artist traveling to gain experience, she appreciates various cultures and traditions, which she believes serves as windows to newer perspectives on the world. A history graduate from Gargi College, she worked in the education industry for 7 years as a movement facilitator, teacher trainer, curriculum writer, and quality analyst.
Sharmistha, who also happens to be our founder, is an award-winning alumna of the Indian Institute of Journalism & New Media. During her 10-year stint as a journalist, she has worked for major newspapers, including the Times of India, DNA & The New Indian Express. She is also a certified travel writer, trained by the bestselling author Dave Fox and award-winning sustainable travel writer Shivya Nath. Sharmistha has traveled to over 25 destinations within India so far.

After working in the media industry for over 8 years, she dared to quit her full-time media job to live the life she always wanted, in pursuit of a bigger adventure. Nancy is a solo backpacker and loves sharing her travel stories, to help people rediscover their love for travel. Nancy’s professional journey includes hundreds of published articles about various international and domestic travel experiences. She also writes for major travel media platforms such as Curly Tales and Tripoto.
