As we entered the premises of Queen’s Bath, there was just an unassuming rectangular-shaped structure surrounded by lush green lawns. But once we got inside the Queen’s bath place, we were taken aback by its beauty.
Imagine a royal swimming pavilion ornamented with elaborate balconies, pillars and arched corridors. It’s open to the sky in the centre, but tightly guarded from the sides. A small flight of steps leads you to the central pool.
There’s no water there anymore and several parts of it have been ruined during the Deccan attack on Hampi. Yet, the intricate carvings on its stucco walls and ceilings will beckon you to pause and admire.

Though the present condition of Queen’s Bath is not what it used to be once upon a time, and the paint has been wearing off, you will find several beautiful backgrounds for photographs.
