Having blue flag certification, Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) has been awarded as one of the best beaches in the Asian continent. It was also given the title of seventh best beach in the world by Time Magazine in 2004.
Enveloped by coconut trees and covered with tropical jungles from both sides, Radhanagar Beach is one of the best and most famous beaches in the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
How To Reach
You can reach Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair only. Several private ferry operators provide services between the two places. After reaching Havelock Island, you will need to hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach Radhanagar Beach.
You can also rent a scooty or bike from any rental shop near the harbor if you want to explore the island on your own. The distance between Havelock Ferry Ghat and Radhanagar Beach is around 11 km, which can be covered in nearly 30 minutes.

How To Reach
Nagoa Beach is located around 7 km from Diu town in Bucharwada village. It takes nearly 20 minutes to get there via car or scooty. Regular buses are also available from Delwada and Una to Diu.
There is an airport in Nagoa which is connected from Mumbai to Diu. A chopper service also operates from Daman to Diu. The nearest railway junction is Veraval, which is 90 km from Diu.

Kerala coastline has incredibly gorgeous beaches that are sure to leave you awestruck. Enveloped with bohemian vibes, Varkala Beach is one such place where you are going to fall in love with the hippie culture.

Paradise Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in India and a must-visit if you are looking to spend a quiet afternoon at a secluded place.
It’s an island beach and thus, you have to take a short ferry ride to get there. There are shacks for you to relax. The sand at this beach is much softer in comparison to the sand at the other beaches of Puducherry.

The beach is at a distance of around 9 km from the central bus stand in Pondicherry town. The only way to get to Paradise Beach is by boat ride from Chunnambar Boat House. A 1.5 km long stretch, Promenade Beach starts from the War Memorial and ends at Duplex Park. It is lined with several beachfront cafés and restaurants and is at a walkable distance from the French Town.
You can also visit the nearby Pondicherry tourist attractions such as the Old Lighthouse, The War Memorial, the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, and Heritage Town Hall.
How To Reach
Promenade Beach lies adjacent to Goubert Avenue and near the M.G. Road area. You can get there easily by local transport. Simply rent a bike or take an auto-rickshaw, bus ride, or taxi to reach this beach smoothly. It is only 750 m from the railway station. From the airport and bus stand, Promenade Beach is at a distance of 5.7 km and 3.3 km respectively.

The beaches in Odisha are hidden jewels. Chandrabhaga Beach, situated only 3 km east of the world-famous Sun Temple, is Asia’s first beach to get the prestigious Blue Flag certification. It is equipped with amenities of international standards for tourists along with being environment-friendly and extremely clean.
I wasn’t expecting a lot from this beach before my visit. But when I actually got there, I was spellbound. Besides its grandeur, I was left awestruck when I saw the sun and the moon at the same time on this beach. I have never witnessed such a natural marvel!

16. Golden Beach
Witnessing the postcard-perfect sunset at this beach was the highlight of my entire Odisha trip. Walking on its fine golden sand and letting the mighty waves crash against my feet was a great fatigue-healer. Golden Beach is dotted with several shops and shacks. A Blue Flag-certified beach, you have to try the golgappas (known as Gup Chup) here!
TWT Tip: If you’re here till the night, you can take a long walk at the Marine Drive Road that runs parallel to this beach. Try mouth-watering food at the roadside stalls with the soothing background music of Bay of Bengal’s waves.

This beach is well-connected via road, rail, and air. The nearest airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport (BBI) in Bhubaneswar, which is around 60 km from Puri.
