6. Bandipur
Home to many majestic wild animals, the Bandipur National Park, Theppakadu Elephant Camp and Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (located nearby in Masinagudi) offer that perfect holiday in the midst of unkempt wilderness.
We have taken a jeep safari here multiple times and every time, we spotted elephants, leopards, bears, deers and peacocks. You can choose to stay back here at one of the many wildlife resorts or simply opt for a day trip on the way to Ooty.
